Established in 2017
After buying our first Maine Coon kitten, we were overwhelmed by her lovable and playful personality. In 2017, Mistyc Coons Cattery was established and registered with the CFA and a year later, Misticcoons Cattery with TICA. We decided to start breeding and showing these beautiful Maine Coons to help preserve the health, quality, and beauty of one of the oldest breeds in the United States.
We are located in the beautiful desert of Arizona. Mistyc Coons and Misticcoons is a small home-based cattery. We only have a few litters a year, and our kittens are raised underfoot; never in cages. We carefully breed to produce kittens that are healthy, affectionate, and have a great personality. The ancestors of our kittens for sale are top-winning show cats, and these kittens have wonderful Maine Coon pedigrees and confirmation, according to the CFA standards.
Mistyc Coons and Misticcoons Cattery’s spends a great deal of time and attention towards socializing the kittens that we sell from Arizona. They are taught from babyhood to use cat-boxes and to scratch only on cat trees. Our kittens will only go to approved homes at no earlier than fourteen weeks of age with their first set of vaccinations.
If you are looking for a family member who will greet your guests at the door and will want to interact with your friends and family, this is the breed for you. Maine Coon Cats are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and companionship. They are sweet-tempered, patient, loving, and sensitive. These gentle giants are not always known for their gracefulness, but that’s part of their charm, as well as for their chirps and trills.
Our breeding cats are DNA tested for HCM, SMA, and PK Deficiency along with being cardiac ultrasound tested annually by a certified cardiologist. Our kittens test FELV/FIV negative, receive core vaccinations and a health guarantee and contract accompanies all of our kittens for sale.
